Overall Leans: 27-23-1 (+2 units)
Overall Combined Record: 63-64-3 (-4 units)
Week 12 Summary: Felt great about that one up until about 7pm…. All about how you #respond
Week 13 Preview: Buckle up.
Week 13 Premium Plays:
Illinois +1 at Rutgers (1 unit): Unpredictable Rutgers team welcome the Fighting Illini to Piscataway. Scarlet Knights winners of two in a row have struggled to move the ball down the field through he air and rely heavily on the run. Illini will be able to keep the lid on this Rutgers offense and do enough on offense themselves to get a win and remain ranked. Illini 27-21.
Nebraska -1 vs Wisconsin (2 units): Head Coach chair is heating up in Nebraska to continue the endless cycle of pain and misery in Lincoln. A win at home to go bowling would buy Matt Rhule some much needed breathing room. Cornhuskers have been knocking on the door three week in a row with single digit losses at Ohio State, vs UCLA, and at USC. I think they get over the hump here against a Wisconsin team that just played the game of their lives a week ago at home vs Oregon. Nebraska gets it done against a hungover Badgers team, 24-20
Iowa -4 at Maryland (3 units): Iowa has managed to #respond in big ways following losses this year most recently with a Maryland adjacent Northwestern team running up 40 points to win but 26. Maryland is falling apart at the seams after loosing 4/5 most recently to Rutgers by 14. Iowa has shown a proclivity on offense that we have not seen since prior to segregation. Facing off against a Maryland team that has given up 31, 39, 48, 28, and 37 in their last five points towards this Iowa offense to keep rolling . Hawkeyes maintain their position on the food chain over the Terps, 44-17
Miami vs GT over 67 (1 units): My models show this number should be closer to 107 so we will take the value Vegas is giving us here. Neither team can stop a nosebleed. Miami is going to have 45 at least and I think Gt participates as well.
BC vs UNC over 53.5 (2 units): It’s been a minute since we have seen a trade marked UNC track meet but I think we will be watching Olympic qualifiers in Chestnut Hill this weekend. Both teams RTDB and both teams struggle to stop the run. Relay race in full effect up and down the field all day. North Carolina averaging 33 PPG and BC averaging 27 PPG I think combine to get past this number by about 21, conservatively. UNC gets the Eagles at the line, 44-41.
Louisville vs Pitt over 57.5 (3 units): Pitt starter Eli Holstein cleared to play but Pat Narduzzi is playing his cards close to his chest after back up QB Nate Yarnell made a statement against Clemson a week ago. Both teams ranking in the top 25 for total offense with both teams averaging 280+ yards through the air per game. Conversely, both teams struggle to keep the lid on offenses and leave a lot to be desired on the defensive line. Louisville will score, Pitt will have to match. This thing may turn in to boat race. 41-40 Cards squeak one out.
Bama -13.5 at Oklahoma (2 units): Bama has a head of steam after a shaky October. They head to Norman to face off against a down and out Sooners team with a seat that may be getting a little warm. Venables tasked with slowing down a Bama offense hitting their stride. Bama is giving ESCEPN the ammo they need to spin a false CNN narrative again surrounding SEC football. Venables may be looking for a new job after this lashing. Rawl Tahd Mama Gray, 31-13.
Army Team Total under 14.5 vs Notre Dame (2 units): Statistically very similar teams here. #1 and #3 defenses face off in a rainy, windy, cold Yankee Stadium on Saturday night. This game is going to be low scoring but ND has a way of tacking on some points late so we are riding with the Army TT compared to game under. ND has only allowed 14+ points twice this year, once to Louisville and once to NIU. Low scoring rock fight, ND 24-10.
Week 13 Leans:
Iowa TT over 24.5: See above
Minnesota +12: Golden Gophers have been rowing that boat at home. They keep it close.
Vandy +7.5: Dejected LSU team
Auburn +3: Rat line
Swinging for the fences.
Sincerely,
William Tickets
