College Football – Week 10
Week 9 Premium Play Record: 4-2 (+2 units)
Week 9 Leans Record: 1-1 (even)
2025 Premium Plays Record: 24-27 (-3 units)
2025 Leans Record: 20-20 (even)
2025 Overall Combined Record: 44-47 (-3 units)
S-T-A-T-E of the Union: Firing this one off from Fort Lauderdale International Airport at 6:45 AM. Schedule been tight the last few weeks but this slate is one I need to get on record and detail for those still hanging around.
Week 10 Preview: Sharp shooter mentality this weekend. Going to get ahead of the chains on Friday night with two plays for a free roll Saturday.
Week 10 Premium Plays:
USC -14 vs Northwestern (3 units): Friday night game in LA for this B10 matchup. Despite a 5-3 record for Northwestern, I think they are fools gold. Somehow we are in November and they have only played one team with a pulse (Oregon). Although they did get James Franklin fired, we now see what that team has become. Large reason for Northwestern’s struggles are due to sixth year transfer QB, Preston Stone. PStone was running SMU (into the ground) for a year before being benched for Mustangs current starter, Kevin Jennings. Stone has tossed nine interceptions on the year and I expect that number to increase by at least one against a top 50 Trojans defense. Trojans have put together a solid year and I feel I have a pretty good feel for these guys. Ultimately, Jayden Maiava and the Trojan offense should be able to outrun the NW’s 91st ranked offense. I don’t think this is necessarily a high scoring affair, but I do think USC wins handily. Good USC team, bad NW team. Lay the points and get ahead of the chains this weekend. Trojans take it 34-10.
Texas A&M vs Mizzou over 47.5 (3 units): Aggies are similar to Auburn, they just drag you into their game. Auburn keeps the points to a minimum, Aggies can’t help themselves but to get in a track meet. Mizzou doesn’t necessarily move my needle towards the over but Beau Pribula and their offense does. What more could you ask for when needing points than a mobile QB that can sling it. Pribula can move on the ground and extend plays. Ahmad Hardy is one of the nation’s best running backs in the country and will help this Mizzou offense get going. TAMU offense doesn’t need any explanation. They are a top five unit led by do it all QB Marcel Reed who likes to keep his foot on the gas. Track meet, shoot out, boat race, whatever you want to call it, its happening. Crazy low number for this TAMU offense to be associated with. TAMU wins 41-24.
Houston ML vs UCF (1 unit): Running out of time at FLL. Plane boarding. Another good team vs bad team, especially when you look at strength of wins vs losses. UCF QB has a turnover issue and that offense doesn’t run without the ball, as we know. Weigman on the other hand is a dual threat QB that has willed this Houston team to some nice wins this year despite stubbing their toe a week ago. Cougs get it done of Friday, 28-17.
Week 8 Leans:
Indiana -14 at Penn State: Cignetti loves to lean on that gas when the situation allows it.
FAU -3.5 vs Tulsa: Tulsa one of the worst teams in the country, FAU can score
Florida State +3 at Clemson: Norvell saving his job. Unfortunately.
Couple of plays I like but don’t have a line for: Purdue Team Total Under (10.5?) and Washing Team Total over (playing anything under 34)
Sincerely,
