LIVE OUTRIGHT
Going to go ahead and throw in a ticket on The Big Ute, Tony Finau, at 30/1. The Utah resident enjoys living close to the Church of the Latter-day Saints with his enormous children and as a helpful side effect has plenty of experience at altitude and playing Colorado area golf courses. He gained strokes everywhere except on approach in R1 and that is not an area of his game you should expect to continue to lag behind.
R2 2-BALLS 1.) SW Kim > Homa -115 Max Homa is spiritually broken. Si Woo made 7 birdies yesterday and is free wheeling to go low for a ticket to East Lake. 2.) Schauffele> Scheffler +120 Scottie is physically broken, issues with the back yesterday, but I'm not sure Xander isn't the best golfer on Tour right now anyway... so I'll take him at plus odds with even the possibility of an edge from Scottie's discomfort. 3.) Rai > Thomas -105 Rai's fairway finding style keeps him out of the 4+ inch rough around Castle Pines and comes with the added benefit of easy length at altitude. 4.) Dunlap > Greyserman -125 Just a complete mismatch in class and form here and they're only making you pay a quarter for it. Dunlap was one of my pre-tournament outrights because of his recent form and his win at the comparable Barracuda championship. Greyserman shot a +6 78 in R1 as his melt down that began on the 68th hole of his Wyndham Championship continues.
